GUIDE 1

Levels and role rewards

Tailor XP, announcements and level roles to your server.

5 mins

Set XP

In the Levels module you control minimum and maximum XP per message, cooldown and multiplier. You can exclude certain channels and roles.

  1. 1

Choose a fair XP range and cooldown.

  2. 2

    Exclude spam or bot channels.

  3. 3

Select the channel for level-up announcements.

  4. 4

Add optional role rewards and review role hierarchy.

Customize announcements

The level-up message can contain wildcards such as {user}, {username}, {level}, {xp}, {nextLevelXp}, {progress} and {server}. The preview helps to check text and embed together.

GUIDE 2

Run giveaways fairly

Set up conditions of participation, duration and results protocol.

4 mins

Set default values

The Giveaways module provides presets for target channel, required roles, minimum age, duration, number of winners and results log channel. Before each start, check whether the price and conditions of participation are clearly formulated.

After the giveaway ends

Check the winner message and the results log channel. If you have any questions, it should be clear which conditions of participation applied to the giveaway.

GUIDE 3

Surveys and Starboard

Enable voting and collect popular posts.

4 mins

Surveys

Polls can run anonymously, be limited to specific roles, have a duration and allow vote changes. Set the anonymity to suit the purpose of the question.

  • Formulate neutral answer options.
  • Set a running time if results should be certain at a point in time.
  • Explain whether votes are anonymous and can be changed.

Starboard

Starboard collects messages from a specified reaction number in its own channel. Choose a familiar emoji, set the threshold and exclude channels if necessary.

GUIDE 4

Moonfeathers, daily rewards and votes

Configure the server currency and recurring rewards.

4 mins

Configure currency

Economy settings determine currency name and symbol, starting balance, daily reward and cooldown. Transfers can be switched on or off and limited.

Claim vote rewards

Members vote for Who on Top.gg or Guildscape using /vote, then run /claimvote. Each verified vote earns 50 Moonfeathers, doubled on weekends. Each platform has a twelve-hour cooldown.

  1. 1

Enable Economy on the server where the reward should be credited.

  2. 2

Use /vote to vote for Who on Top.gg or Guildscape.

  3. 3

Run /claimvote in the server whose Economy should receive the balance.

GUIDE 5

Who, Moonfeathers, and the little farm

Care for Who, play the daily nest game, and decorate the farm background.

5 mins

Meet and care for Who

Use /pet to open your personal Who HUD with the farm scene, satiety, mood, and Moonfeather balance. Each person’s pet state and farm decorations are saved separately for each Discord server. Satiety and mood decrease over time.

  • “Feed” costs 10 units of the server currency and increases satiety by 30 points. Economy must be enabled.
  • “Play with Who” is free and increases mood by 20 points.
  • Feeding or playing immediately refreshes the displayed HUD.

Earn Moonfeathers

Use /daily to claim the configured daily reward. Use /vote to vote for Who on Top.gg or Guildscape; /claimvote adds verified vote rewards to the Economy of the server where you run the command.

  1. 1

Run /moonhunt to reveal three nests.

  2. 2

Choose one nest. It contains a random 10 to 30 Moonfeathers.

  3. 3

Play again after 24 hours; each round is free.

Decorate Who’s farm

Open the Farm Shop from the /pet HUD to buy permanent cosmetic details. The flower garden, rabbit nook, chick coop, and moon lanterns cost 150, 350, 650, and 1,000 Moonfeathers. Unlocked decorations appear in the background of your pet image and stay linked to you on that server.

GUIDE 6

Conduct surveys reliably

Set anonymity, role limitation and term before launch.

3 mins

Decide before you start

These options are default values of the Polls module. When creating the specific survey, also check the question, answer options and target channel.

  • Anonymity: Choose whether votes can be assigned to individual members.
  • Permission: Determine whether all members or only certain roles vote.
  • Runtime: Set an end if results are needed at a fixed time.
  • Vote changes: Decide whether a cast vote can be changed later.

Keep the result comprehensible

Write in the survey who can vote and when voting ends. In anonymous surveys, the wording should not promise tracking of individual votes.

GUIDE 7

Set up Starboard without spam

Set threshold, emoji and excluded channels.

2 mins

Coordinate collection channel

  1. 1

Create a channel to collect featured posts.

  2. 2

Select it in the Starboard module and set the emoji.

  3. 3

Set a response threshold that fits the size of your community.

  4. 4

Exclude support, bot, or private channels if you don't want their content to appear there.

  5. 5

Test a message and see if it appears in the target channel when the threshold is reached.

Fairness and care

A low threshold quickly produces many entries; a high threshold misses smaller, helpful contributions. Adjust based on observation and inform members which messages can end up in the Starboard.
