GUIDE 1

Temporary voice channels

Set up a creator channel with a target category and naming scheme.

4 mins

Prepare creator channel

  1. 1

Create a voice channel that members join to create a room.

  2. 2

Select it as a Creator Channel in the dashboard.

  3. 3

Choose a target category for new rooms.

  4. 4

Set name template, user limit and desired privacy.

  5. 5

Test create, exit, and cleanup with two test accounts.

Discord rights

Who needs rights to manage channels in the target category. The visibility and access rights of the created channels should match the server structure.

GUIDE 2

Server statistics

Create a statistics category and display the desired counters.

4 mins

Select counter

Server Stats can display members, human members, channels, roles and server age. Determine which key figures should be visible and arrange the category clearly.

Check update

The visible values are not necessarily updated immediately for each individual action. Use the set interval as a guide and check whether the bot is allowed to manage channels in the target category.

GUIDE 3

Custom commands and utilities

Automate simple answers and control integrated information commands.

5 mins

Set up custom commands

Custom Commands can be configured with a prefix, response, role restrictions and cooldowns. Write the trigger so that it doesn't accidentally interfere with normal conversation.

  • Limit administrative responses to appropriate roles.
  • Use cooldowns on frequently used commands.
  • Test command, response, and logging in a private channel.

Utilities

The Utilities module controls server info, user info, avatar and latency. You can limit replies to the person calling them if you don't want them to be public in the channel.
